Visa support
We will provide you with a letter of invitation that clearly states the dates of the congress, the organiser’s details, including contact information, and confirmation of your registration to attend the congress at the dates and location of the congress. To request an invitation letter, click the button below.
Applications must be submitted by 5pm (AEST) Friday 30 August 2024.
Before requesting the invitation letter:
- Make sure that you have registered to attend the congress and completed your payment. Requests without proof of payment cannot be accommodated.
- Prepare your passport information to submit in the request.
- Check that your passport is valid during the congress period.
Passports and Visa requirements
If you are planning to visit Australia to attend a business event such as a congress, as a speaker, participant or attendee, (that is, you will not be working, performing, or being paid to contribute), you may be eligible for one of the following visas:
Visitor (subclass 600) (Business stream) visa
Electronic Travel Authority – ETA (subclass 601)
eVisitor (subclass 651) (Business Stream) visa
