As December approaches, Melbourne will be buzzing with activity, attracting a surge of visitors. We strongly urge you to secure your accommodation at the earliest convenience.

A limited number of rooms have been reserved on behalf of congress delegates at a number of hotels in Melbourne. Accommodation is subject to availability and will be allocated when a booking is received. To secure the congress accommodation rates, bookings should be made online as part of the registration process. The booking deadline is Thursday 31 October 2024.

Please indicate your estimated time of arrival during the booking process. If you wish to guarantee your room is ready before the hotel check-in time it is recommended that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival. Failure to advise your arrival time if arriving after 18:00 may mean that your room will be released.

Please notify your requests for changes or cancellation by email directly to the Congress Secretariat. Be aware each hotel has its own cancellation policy from 30 days prior to arrival ranging from one night cancellation fee to 100% cancellation fee depending on the date of cancellation. Please ensure you understand the policy for the hotel you are booking.

If you wish to extend your stay prior to or following the congress, please specify your requirements in the special instructions field during the accommodation booking process. Availability and rates will be checked with the hotel before your reservation is fully confirmed.

Please note that payment of accommodation is not taken at the time of completing an online congress registration, however a credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your room with the hotel.

If you won’t have the credit card at check in time because it is your workplace card and it is not in your name, you may need to complete a credit card authorisation form. Please advise us if this is required and the form and instructions will be sent to you 30 days prior to check in. From 30 days prior to arrival, hotels will charge this credit card for all your accommodation charges. Please ensure you understand each hotel’s payment policy (outlined below).

Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Southbank is located within the heart of Melbourne’s art and entertainment hub. Notable for its sustainable design as the city’s first cross laminated timber hotel, the accommodation features fully equipped kitchens, laundry facilities, a state-of-the-art gym, indoor lap pool and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Southbank features a stylish 29-square-meter studio room, with a well-equipped kitchenette for all your needs. The studio room is equipped with a desk, air-conditioning comfort, a spacious bathroom with a shower, complimentary amenities, and a hairdryer. There is also free Wi-Fi, a 43-inch LCD TV with Chromecast, and convenient USB charging points available.

Check in is available from 3:00PM and check out is prior to 11.00AM.

There is no breakfast available at this hotel, however there is a restaurant downstairs ‘St Marks Road Co.’ that guests will be able to book breakfast at.

Off-site car parking is available for a charge of $35 per car per day at Wilson Parking – Eureka (70 City Road, Southbank), directly opposite the hotel.

There is free unlimited WiFi available and a higher speed upgrade option available upon request.

A one night deposit will be charged to the delegates credit card 30 days prior to arrival. Delegates to settle the remaining balance of their accommodation upon arrival. On-site car parking is available for a charge of $60 per night, with unlimited entry and exit privileges, but it is subject to availability (limited spots) and must be booked directly with the hotel in advance.

There is free unlimited WiFi available. At an additional cost, guests can upgrade to a faster Wi-Fi package.

One night deposit will be charged at 30 days prior to arrival. Balance payment due will be finalised upon check-in. A valid credit card and photo ID are required upon check-in to guarantee all room and incidental charges. A 3% Credit Card surcharge applies to American Express and Diner payments. A 1.5% surcharge applies for Visa and Mastercard payments.

Self-parking is available for guests at a discounted rate of $17 per exit at Care Car Park at Siddeley Street Docklands (Corner of Siddeley and Flinders Street, Docklands – adjacent to Victoria Police Centre). This fee is based on a continuous 24-hour period commencing from time of entry. Should you exit the car park within this period you will incur a $17 fee for each exit.

To obtain the discounted Melbourne central parking rate, your parking ticket must be collected at the concierge desk of the hotel. Loss of the car park ticket will be subject to the conditions of Care Car Park. Please note when parking that there are two Care Car Parking outlets in the area, and only the aforementioned address is available to hotel guests for $17 per exit.

Valet parking is available for $70 per day. Height restriction of 1.9 meters.

Parking is available by Wilson Parking, surrounding the Pan Pacific Melbourne. The closest is the South Wharf Retail Car Park and casual rates apply. Discounted car parking rates of $35 (per 24 hours/unlimited exits and entries based on 24 hours) are available with a hotel validated parking ticket and guests paying direct with reception. Valet Parking is available at $59 per car, per day.

Complimentary wired and wireless high-speed Internet access is available for guests.

Guarantee cards provided will only be charged in case of cancellations after deadline or in case of no shows.

Delegates will be required to provide credit cards at check in that will be pre-authorised for entire accommodation amount in addition to AUD $100.00 incidentals deposit per night.

Major credit cards are acceptable and are subject to a merchant fee of 1.25% on Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
